And this, of course, is meant in the context of understanding the nature of our relationship with God. To begin by example, let’s put it into a picture we can all visualize, and think for a second the relationship between a child and his father. When can picture one side on the coin, the father is a loving, kind father—the one we all want, and the one we expect him to be. That’s the father we see. But then, there’s the flip side. On the other side of the coin, the

A Personal Search for a Sound Worldview

<dc:subject>season 12</dc:subject>

by Daniel Litton &nbsp &nbsp Listen to the Podcast

&nbsp How each of us sees the world is a particularly interesting thing. It’s interesting because we all have a worldview—we’ve all developed something. But for a lot of us, we haven't developed it based on some careful, scientific, or even intentional evaluations. For some of us, it’s simply just something we’ve adopted as we grew up, picking up a little bit here and a little bit there. We kind of gather these pieces from various places until they eventually conglomerate into a worldview. And the surprising part is (though maybe it’s not too surprising), sometimes

Beyond 'Everything Happens for a Reason'

<dc:subject>season 12</dc:subject>

by Daniel Litton &nbsp &nbsp Listen to the Podcast

&nbsp Each one of us, at some point in our lives, hits a wall. We get stuck. Sometimes we’re stuck because, well, we want something and nothing is happening. Or we’re stuck because the opposite of what we want has in fact happened.
